Hi, there. I’m Luke. I’m a career educator (High School Assistant Principal by day) with a penchant for organic farmer’s markets, seasonal facial hair (full beard in winter, mustache for springtime), and knives (of the kitchen variety, of course). I love making food for my friends and family, and this blog was born out of a new genre of cooking I was introduced to when my son, Niko, who was born in December 2011, reached that 6-month milestone of eating solid food.
